Terms of Service

1. Who may use MesobLingo

You must use MesobLingo only in compliance with applicable law. If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity under your account.

If you are under the age required to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction, you may use MesobLingo only with permission and supervision where required by law.

2. Your account

You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate account information
• Keeping your login credentials secure
• Not sharing your account in a way that violates these Terms
• Promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorized access

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for the service or other users.

3. Subscriptions and billing

Some parts of MesobLingo may require a paid subscription.

If you subscribe:

• Pricing, billing frequency, renewal terms, and material subscription details will be shown at checkout
• Unless otherwise disclosed, subscriptions may renew automatically until cancelled
• You can manage or cancel your subscription through the app, account settings, or billing flow where available
• Cancellation stops future renewals and your access will continue until the end of your current billing period
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable once a billing period begins

We may, in our sole discretion, issue a courtesy refund in limited cases such as accidental duplicate charges or other exceptional circumstances, but we are not obligated to do so.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use MesobLingo unlawfully
• Interfere with or disrupt the service
• Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data
• Scrape, copy, reproduce, or redistribute app content beyond permitted personal use
• Reverse engineer or attempt to derive source code except where prohibited by law
• Use bots or automated methods to abuse the platform
• Misrepresent your identity or misuse support channels

5. Content and intellectual property

MesobLingo and its content, including lessons, text, audio, visuals, branding, and software, are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the service for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.

You may not copy, resell, license, distribute, or exploit MesobLingo content except as expressly permitted by us in writing.

6. User feedback

If you send us ideas, suggestions, or feedback, you agree that we may use them without restriction or compensation to you, unless applicable law says otherwise.

7. Availability and changes

We may change, improve, suspend, or discontinue parts of MesobLingo at any time. We do not guarantee that the service will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.

8. Termination

You may stop using MesobLingo at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your access if:

• You violate these Terms
• Your use creates security, legal, or operational risk
• We are required to do so by law

Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, payment obligations accrued before termination, and dispute-related terms.

9. Disclaimers

MesobLingo is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or free from errors.

MesobLingo is an educational product, not a certification program, and we do not guarantee any particular fluency outcome.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MesobLingo and its affiliates, owners, employees, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising out of or related to your use of the service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months before the claim arose.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict of laws principles.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and take any additional steps required by law.
